The Andrysik Lab from the Department of Biology, Faculty of Medicine, partnered with The Krtek Children's Oncology Endowment Fund to host a successful fundraising event benefiting children with cancer.

The winners of 2019 nominations are known
This year we decided to award some of the achievements done by the researchers a tour department. The agreement was to award an early stage researcher, best paper published in the preceding year and also the best teacher.
As of the 2019 nominations, the awards go to:
- Alex Nita – the best PhD candidate
- Vladimír Rotrekl – the nest teacher
- Michaela Bosáková – the best paper
