Apply for individual PhD student grants in research and development provided by the Internal Grant Agency MU.
On the 1 September, the Rector of MU announces a call in the IGA MU university-wide competition for individual student grants in research and development. Students enrolled in a full-time doctoral degree program in the standard length of studies can apply.
Submission period lasts from 01.09.2021 - 18.10.2021. All documents and competition rules are available here.

This year, the Biology Department is also organizing the Annual PhD Conference in Biomedical Sciences, which will take place on the 8th-10th of November at the University Campus in Brno. More than 50 PhD students from various departments of the Faculty of Medicine, CEITEC MU and FNUSA-ICRC will present the results of their dissertations in the field of Biomedicine.
We are pleased to invite you to the first BIOTOP seminar in the autumn semester 2023. Our first invited speaker will be Dr. Kateřina Šolcová, who will talk about her career path from successfull completion of her PhD studies in Cell Biology at the University of Basel in Switzerland towards her current position as a member of the business analytical team at Charles University Inovation Prague.
