"What does it take to start a business in biotech?"

 

This seminar will introduce you to the topic of startups in biotech. Dr. Dorota Gierej-Czerkies is a neuroscientist at heart who specializes in the innovation management in biotechnology. Currently she is the head of Technology Transfer Office at Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She has over 12 years of experience as an active researcher, a product development project manager and as a knowledge transfer specialist. Before joining Nencki Institute, Dorota was a Chief Operating Officer at Helix Immuno-Oncology, partner at BM Consulting and co-founder and managing partner at the Microbiological Laboratory of Quanteam. She gained her professional experience at, among others, BTM Mazowsze biotech cluster and AstraZeneca.
