Michaela Pospíšilová was accepted to undertake a short period of research at the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, University of Oxford in 2024.
Michaela Pospíšilová was selected as a Participant for he Global Young Scientists Summit 2024 in Singapore.
In 2017, MU concluded a license agreement with Artios Pharma Ltd. involved in the development of new cancer treatments. This will enable the cooperation of the university and this important investment partner in research focusing on the inhibition of nucleases with patented compounds that were created in the laboratories of the scientific teams of Kamil Paruch and Lumír Krejčí from the Faculty of Science and Medicine of the MU and FNUSA-ICRC.
Karina Movsesjan won first place in the Intel ISEF, a prestigious international competition for students under the age of twenty, and is currently also the main winner of the 29th European Union Contest for Young Scientists – EUCYS in 2017.
Hana Sedláčková won the overall victory in the life sciences category in the prestigious competition The Undergraduate Awards in 2015.
